The Virginia Soccer Alliance is proud to announce new member club Greene Futbol Club.  GFC offers soccer programming for youth players in Greene County and the surrounding area.  Expanded programming is planned to begin in the Fall of 2025 with travel team tryouts, summer camp and clinic announcements coming even sooner.

Greene Futbol Club is a travel soccer club that strives to provide a competitive youth soccer environment within the Greene community and to prepare young players for high school and collegiate level play.  Throughout it’s history the organization has been volunteer driven and dedicated to growing the love of soccer within the local community.  The organization has served the community for multiple decades and can be proud of many successes on and off the field through the years.  GFC joining the Virginia Soccer Alliance represents a new era for the club and is intended to be a merger that will provide stability and longevity for this well established soccer community.

The club plans to form teams and kickoff play in the new partnership in the Fall of 2025.  Summer camp programming is being organized now and current player opportunities already exist for eager players to participate with neighboring VSA club partners now.  Please look out for announcements and updates to come soon. The Virginia Soccer Alliance was formed in 2021 and seeks to unite the efforts of youth soccer clubs in the western region of Virginia.  The Alliance provides an economy of resources and ideas from which it’s member clubs may draw in order to serve their communities effectively.  Players who are a part of the alliance of clubs have the opportunity to not only compete locally for their unique community but have access to national and regional platforms that are often unattainable for communities of smaller size.
